Project Overview

Michael Wall Engineering provided full-service design-bid-build documents for this $85 million, 300,000SF complex.  The project consists of three office buildings, a fleet vehicle maintenance facility, and a central utilities plant.  The complex houses over 850 employees and is situated on an 11-acre site in Old Town San Diego, CA.  The project electrical cost was approximately $6M.

The project includes an 11-acre site, open office space, library space, training rooms, computer center, reprographics room, large-scale presentation and conference rooms, a full service cafeteria and child care facility.  The project is 16% below the State’s requirements for energy efficiency and it is LEED Silver rated.  The project scope included power, lighting, 750kW emergency generator, UPS power, and low voltage systems including a 30kW photovoltaic system.
