Project Overview

This high-end office space features 102,000SF T.I. built over seven floors at 525 B Street in downtown San Diego. The space includes an open-air contemplation garden, two water features, a skylight and a 56 foot high by 18 foot wide glass sculpture of a native California Juniper tree adjacent to the four story internal stairwell. Michael Wall Engineering illuminated this four-story glass mural, the focal point of the project, using rear-project high-output linear LED lighting throughout the entire height and width of the element.

Highly energy-efficient lighting was used throughout the LEED Gold space including open offices, private offices, state-of-the-art conferencing rooms, and the roof-top contemplation garden. Power for Server Rooms UPS loads was provided to the 2nd floor space. The project lighting design achieved an energy consumption of 24% below the Title 24 allowance.
