Project Overview

Michael Wall Engineering provided the power, lighting, and voice/data system designs for the $34.5M 3-story 85,000SF academic instruction building for USD School of Leadership and Education Sciences (SOLES).  The facility includes 15 classrooms, a 200-seat auditorium, a 60-seat executive training classroom, a 2,000SF reading room, a terrace café, offices, and a two-level subterranean parking garage.

Lighting design employed carefully selected fixtures that reflected the classical Spanish architecture on both the exterior and the interior while performing in an energy-efficient and effective manner. Exterior elements illuminated include a signature tower, an outdoor court and a two-story loggia.
