This 70,000SF building consists of food product research space, offices, multi-media conference rooms, video editing, and 15,000SF of lab area for the testing and development of the kitchen lines for Jack in the Box restaurants. The labs are configured with quick-disconnect style power bussing to allow for extensive power to be concentrated in any one part of the lab to test multiple pieces of similar kitchen equipment simultaneously and completely mock-up kitchen designs on-the-fly. As well, seven (7) full-service kitchens may be utilized at any given time for product testing and quality control. The ultra-efficient indirect lighting in the open office areas exceeds Title-24 requirements by fifteen (15) percent.
