This 3-story 82,600SF facility is constructed over 1-level of parking and houses the School of Leadership and Education Sciences. Spaces include a 10,500SF auditorium, 3,800SF of meeting rooms, and 11,500SF of classrooms. This project included the extension of the existing 12kV system to serve the new facility through new selective load interrupter switches and a 2.5MW substation. SCADA monitoring is included, a highly specialized lighting design and dimming control for main lobbies, auditoriums, conference rooms and classrooms is provided. All lighting was selected to complement the Moorish architectural interior and exterior design. Complete telecommunications, fire alarm, security and audio/visual engineering was also performed as part of this project.
