Michael Wall Engineering, Inc. is preparing electrical construction documents for this 172,000SF owner-occupied built-to-suit facility. The 8-story private higher education building will sit atop three (3) levels of sub-grade parking. The building will house classrooms, lecture halls, a bookstore, library, admissions, administrative, staff and student departments and lounges, as well as support spaces. Incorporated in the design are specifications for the entire electrical systems, including all power and signal systems. A standby diesel power generator will service the optional server systems and code-required systems, such as the egress lighting, fire alarm, and life safety systems. Lighting design includes full interior, as well as exterior walkways, building and accent lighting, and illumination for signage. Being designed as a sustainable building, LEED certification is anticipated.
