Michael Wall Engineering, Inc. has provided over twenty (20) project designs for Intel in their San Diego and Irvine campus locations. Projects include laboratory, server rooms, and R & D offices for EC-1, EC-2, EC-3, SN-1 and other Intel facilities. The EC-3 30,000SF tenant improvement for Intel Corporation features a pair of RF labs, 5000SF and 7000SF each. These labs are completely enclosed in solid RF shield material offering 100dB signal attenuation at 10GHz. Special attention was given to the electrical system designed in the labs to mitigate possible noise transfer to and from adjoining tenant spaces. The improvement also features (2) 400SF server rooms supported by a 40kVA UPS system.
