Michael Wall Engineering, Inc. provided electrical construction documents for this 8,500SF build-to-suit facility. The upscale restaurant accommodates 221 guests, including dining, bar, lounge and patio area seating, as well as private group dining rooms equipped with full audiovisual capabilities. The restaurant utilizes a network integrated Point of Sale system with integral battery backup and shutdown. Data system design includes wireless hotspot equipment to allow for client PDA and other wireless device use. Specialty lighting controls include a programmable relay panel with astronomical time clock, photocell input, and network interface for remote control. The Lutron GRAFIK Eye 5000 dimming control system is programmed with 17 different scenes for restaurant, bar, patio, and reception areas, and has 5 remote operating and one master programming station. Lighting also consists of variable color RGB fixtures from Color Kinetics for changeable mood lighting, and combines the flexibility of a 16.7-million color output with low power consumption of the LED light source. Electrical power distribution design integrates with a 1,700SF professional-grade kitchen to support high capacity equipment and refrigerated storage facilities.
