Carlsbad, California

Michael Wall Engineering, Inc. produced electrical construction documents for approximately 42,000SF of office tenant improvements for the Rockstar gaming software company. The project encompassed part of the second floor of an existing 140,000SF, 2-story building located in Carlsbad, California. The improvements included office, break and conference rooms, research and development areas, and specialized sound and edit studios. A raised floor power and data distribution system was designed and incorporated with the expansive open office raised floor system created by the architect. This allowed for easy relocation of team workstations and collaboration areas without the need for tradesmen; all relocations can be accomplished by the Rockstar staff. Additionally, the main electrical switchgear was redesigned from a single tenant meter to a multi-tenant meter configuration.
