in NAVFAC Southwest:
We’ve Done That!
Michael Wall Engineering’s work in NAVFAC Southwest includes a variety of building types and infrastructure. Building projects range from BEQs to ordnance storage. Infrastructure projects include complicated microgrid, cogeneration, photovoltaic, SCADA, medium voltage (12kV, 35kV, 69kV) distribution (OH and UG), primary and secondary substations, and telecommunications work. In addition to electrical construction documents, MWE has provided RFP documents for issue to design/build bidders. Over our many years of military project experience, Michael Wall Engineering is pleased to have designed projects at every NAVFAC Southwest base.
Over the past twelve years, we have worked with Michael Wall Engineering in designing a wide range of facilities. Significant projects during this time include the $500 Million San Diego County Operations Center and the new $1 Billion Coastal Campus for the Navy SEALs. The firm has consistently provided us with outstanding engineering design and has met every budgetary and scheduling challenge. Their assistance has been particularly valuable whenever we were engaged in best value design/build competitions, and they have made significant contributions to our success in that arena. Our most recent collaboration involved design of the data system for the region’s 9-1-1 emergency response system; we trust them with mission critical facilities because of the firm’s unfailing professionalism and commitment to design excellence.
