Michael Wall Engineering provided design-build electrical construction documents for the new, $90 million Engineering and Interdisciplinary Science Complex located on the campus of San Diego State University in San Diego, CA.

The 5-story, 85,000SF building complex is comprised of teaching labs and flexible research space to accommodate a range of engineering and science programs including biomedicine, the environment, materials, energy, nanotechnology, bioengineering and wireless technology. The building features 11,500SF of instructional space with 17 cutting-edge labs, outfitted with state-of-the- art scientific and industrial machines and a modular setup, allowing scientists and engineers to easily relocate their resources to be closer to potential collaborators. The project is LEED Gold certified.
